Another great post! ....
To sum it up, what you are really talking about here, even in the questions at the end of the post, is simply thinking, planning, and targeting exactly what you want as an artist/label. It all comes down to the all mighty business plan which includes a marketing plan. All the questions you pose, the advice given, and great detail leads one to understand how important knowing what you want really is to your career.

Too many new artists hit the market reaching for the stars without even knowing what the "star" looks like to them. What is crazy is that they may indeed bump into that star one day along their journey but never know it because they did not take the time to consider and plan what their "star" would look like if they could hold it in their hands.

Reaching for the stars is great.... but knowing what your "star" will look like when you get to it, planning a way to reach it, and allowing yourself to realize your dreams though follow through and hard work beats the crap out of "reaching." - Start doing - Stop Reaching!

Peace,
Jai
"Love the MUSIC in Yourself, Not Yourself in the MUSIC!"
www.IamMusicNetwork.com
