Music Blogging With Consistency and Purpose

Managing multiple projects became a crazy task to deal with.  I was launching other sites with friends and customers and having  good success with helping them establish their presence online.  When times got busy, some personal projects got neglected due to just organization and I knew that is not what really represented me.

I came up with this simple checklist to start off every month for all of my projects.  The reason I like this checklist is because it gets me thinking about content and forces me to create a schedule for what I am comfortable with.

The motto for this year is to invest in yourself. If its worth doing, then do it the best you can.  If your music blogging suffers from this inconsistency, then this is for you.

I realized that my writers block was a misdiagnosis, it was all about just kick starting a project.

Content Checklist

The breakdown here is all about simplicity.  I created a folder for each web project I have going.  This is part of the monthly evaluation to make sure the campaign is alive and kicking.

The main reason it is important is to visualize your stats, grade your effort and see what contributed to the success or to the problem.  For example, one section to fill in is how often do you want to post. Maybe you wrote more articles but the visitors didn’t increase.  The problem may be that your keywords weren’t as targeted or your call to action was weak.

The point here is improvement through simple steps, get a quick overview and keep outputting ideas.

Download the PDF or view it here, print it up and fill in your stats and goals.  Keep working at it.  We will be discussing more plans of action in the future.
